Explanation / Answer
Globalization refers to the intermixing or interaction of various people living in different continents around the world, following different cultures and speaking different languages making world a single continent accessible to all the people of the world. For me it’s equivalent of making our globe a single nation and the people of the world as its citizens helping growth and development of each other by increasing the interaction or by making the interactions more easy and accessible to all. The pros include easy transfer of knowledge, science, technology, goods, services across the world with a very short span of time and various demerits of globalisation includes loss of small cultures, religions, languages thus decreasing the diversity in total.
Globalisation makes people moving from the less developed countries or areas to trade centres of the world this will create high pressure on the developed countries as this population requires spake to live, food to eat, energy resources to have a quality life and thus will put extra pressure on land to produce more food which make these land less fertile and easily erodible apart from this it also requires to cut forest areas for vegetation, deforestation for building residential societies which can caus desertification in long run.
