Give and describe the 3 characteristics for wetlands in general: which are hydrology (rules over others), soil, and plants. Discuss what we found at the Pavilion pond which was: oak trees and persimmon trees, lots of acorns on the ground, hybrid soil was on the right of the pavilion and is also considered the littoral zone, willow tree hung over the pond. Another key thing that can be added is different trees have different water solubulity, but why? The pond can also be discussed for example what a pond is.

The main characteristics of wetlands are,
(1) Wetlands have water at the surface or in the root zone.
(2) Wetlands have unique soil conditions that usually differ from adjacent uplands.
(3) Wetlands support vegitation that is adopted to wet conditions and cant adopt to a abscence of flooding.
At the pavilion pond we found a cute but murky cloured little pond with old pavillion.
Different trees has different amounts of extractives that is why they have different solubulity for different trees.
A pond is an body of water which will be in size between one square meter.It having fresh water and still water.it stays for couple of months.
