It pretty much seems like air hunger which is a sensation or condition of not being able to breathe in enough air. Due to insufficient air, it leads to deep, rapid and labored breathing. This might be caused due to an increase respiratory drive due to low blood oxygen level and is something that is observed during fatigue. It is also called as Dyspnea. It is caused due to many reasons like high altitude, changes in temperature but majorly due to health of the individual. There are medications and bronchodilators that can be used for treating such conditions. There are breathing techniques that can be done like pursed lip breathing and strengthening exercises.
