Question 1) It is possible that the toxicity had no effect on monogamous females, but beneficial effects; however, it is probable that once they have had sexual contact with a male (monogamy) and after with other males, this could be toxic because their body would have gotten a sensitivity to other males.
Question 2) If the seminal fluid is toxic, as the experiment moves forwards, the seminal fluid will be more toxic than in the ealier generations of females. This could be caused becauce once a person hasn't been in touch with a material (such as the people who don't drink milk anymore and later they can not consume milky products), this could be a similar situation.
Question 3) They have a greater survivorship. This is not consistent with the expectation, since the article displays some references ralted to this topics and they mentioned that seminal fluid is toxic for females.
Question 4) No, they don't have higher fecundity, since we can observe on the image that both groups present almost the same relative value.
Question 5)Monogamous females showed a greater reproductive sucess as we see on the image. The relative value of monogamous females is higher than the relative value of not monogamous females.
