Explanation / Answer
Oral contraceptives are hormonal preparations that may contain combinations of the hormones - estrogen and progestin. Combinations of estrogen and progestin prevent pregnancy by inhibiting the release of the hormones luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland in the brain. LH and FSH play key roles in the development of the egg and preparation of the lining of the uterus for implantation of the embryo.
Step 1 - ASSESS HEALTH AFTER MISCARRIAGE-A miscarriage can be caused due to a number of reasons. Physically, the healing process starts quickly and the female body starts to ovulate within 2 to 4 weeks after the miscarriage. Emotionally , the healing process is slower and it is advised to visit an appropriate doctor/specialist to cope with the loss.
Step 2-STOP ANY TYPE OF BIRTH CONTROL AND MONITOR OVULATION CYCLE-birth control of any sorts should be avoided due to obvioius reasons.Monitoring ovulation cycle can help planned pregnancy.
Step 3- TRACKING BASAL TEMPERATURE- Basal temperature can increase during ovulation. Armed with this knowledge chances of pregnancy can be increased
Step 4-ENJOY SEX
Step 5 - PHYSICAL FITNESS - Maintaining a healthy diet and weight, exercising, and managing stress can increase the chances of conceiving and having a healthy pregnancy.Avoid using drugs, tobacco and alcohol.
Step 6- DETERMINIG CAUSE OF INFERTILITY- There are a variety of reasons that may prevent conception naturally including structural issues with either the man or the woman.Determining what is impeding the ability to conceive can help your doctor formulate a more effective treatment plan and may also help you get pregnant. Undergo any tests your doctor might suggest for you and your partner.
Step 7 - ALTERNATE METHODS OF CONCEPTIONS - Alternate methods like IVF (in-vito fertilisation) can also be used to conceive although they are more dangerous for older women (>40). Stimulated ovulation through drugs can also be used to increase the total number of eggs during ovulation.Artificial semenation can also be used, after ehich the zygote is transplanted to the uterus of the mother.
