1. Slavery had begun back in the history where individuals are treated as properties. Slaves are not allowed to withdraw from any assigned work provided to them and are forced to act against their will. In the earlier times, slavery had been more pronounced in Africa or America, where slaves were being exported in exchange of goods. African slaves had been bought by Muslim traders and had been sold in the Middle East. In east Africa, there was increased slave labour and also continued to be integrated as kinship. First slaves arrived in America in 1501. In order to abolish slavery there was a huge outbreak in the form of the civil war.
Contemporary slavery is also identified as modern slavery, where almost 21 -46 million people are involved. There may be a number of reasons for it such as free workers trying to lay off previous debts, or trying to protect families by pursuing slavery. Currently, the trends have shifted towards se-x slavery, which comprises the largest industry in slaves. Following this, there are cannabis farmers, small scale labour, se-xual exploitation of domestic servants.
