Reactant of electron transport chain in photosynthesis include carbon dioxide and water and light energy., whereas reactants of electron chain mitochondria are glucose and oxygen. Requires ATP in electron transport chain in light reaction whereas in mitochondria ATP molecules is generated.

Similarity include

Both the electron transport chain include the production of energy, both the chain include generation of hydrogen gradient across the respective membrane of the organelle and both required enzyme ATP asexual.
