Dalman has always been the one who could voice the Sandwich Blitz vision. He has usually been the visible “voice” for the company while Lei has usually worked behind the scenes to handle financial matters. They are both worried in this situation. Dalman is afraid that he lacks the financial background to satisfy these financiers. Lei is afraid that she might not have the marketing skills needed to convince this group of the unique capabilities of Sandwich Blitz. In the given situation, the Sandwich Blitz. needs to have a Manager instead of a Leader as

1> Dalman and Lei both performing towards the expansion of Sandwich Blitz., they both are worried of the situation. So a Manager will control and manage the situation so Dalman and Lei will have confidence in the work they are doing for internal expansion and not have any worry of the situation.

2> Dalman is working the voice the Sandwich Blitz vision i.e. marketing and convincing the group of the capabilities of the group, but he is in doubt whether the financial part of the company will able be sport the internal expansion of the Sandwich Blitz. So. the Manager will manage the marketing with the financial deployment and the Financiers.

3> On the other hand, Lei is working from behind on the financial part of the expansion plan, but he is not confident whether the Marketing and group capabilities will able to match with the Financiers expactations and they get satisfied. So, the Manager carry the expactations of the Financiers and tally that with the Marketing force and capabilities so that the internal expansion of the company will satisfy the Financiers.

Difference between a Manager and a Leader is that a Manager will able to manage the resources available to meet the target whereas a Leader will only able to lead from the front but could not able to tally the financial activities with the actual action i.e. marketing and the expansion. A Manager could able to lead the resources and the expansion activites to the Financiers satisfaction, where as a Leader could not able to manage the resources so that the internal expansion could take place which will satisfies the Financiers.
