1 . in vertical , using h = ut + at^2/2

70 = 0 + 9.8t^2/2

t = 3.78 sec


distance covevered by jet = at^2/2 = 15 x 3.78^2/2 = 107.14 m


so speed minimum   = 107.14/3.78 = 28.35 m/s


2. again , in vertical , using h = ut + at^2/2

95 = 0 + 9.8t^2/2

t = 4.403 sec


d = 15 x t^2/2 = 145.40 m
