He now exhibited a low-grade fever, high blood pressure and continued WBC elevation. The following diagnostic procedures were performed, but no conclusive aboormalities were found lumbar punctures for CSF analyses, CT scan of head EEG, and MRI As he coatimued to deteriorate, his oral secretions increased markedly, and he developed suboormal body temperature, blood pressure, ventilation rate and heart rate.
