Explanation / Answer

If the curve between two variables is a straight line, passing through the origin this indicates a direct relationship between the two variables that is both varibles vary with respect to each other. if the  curve is a slanting line, this points out towards an inverse relationship between the variables. the curves can assume any shape such as hyperbola, parabola, based upon the type of relationship between the variables. Controls greatly increases the reliability of the observed results. Positive controls ensures that the equipment is working properly and the reactions conditions are favourable. Whereas negative control shows that the observed results are really true are not merely an artifact. Replicates show that the result can be replicated independently and is valid. Invalid results are not reproducible consistently.
