This is part III of a three part problem (karma points for EACH of the three parts) Please see parts I and II also. Also, please don't just show the answer. Please also show very clearly how you found the answer.
A 350 kg coaster cart rests atop a 30m hill. When the cart is released it passes through a circular loop that has a 12m radius. Then, at constant velocity, the cart navigates a 10 m turn. (Assume no friction or air resistance.) During the turn how many g's of acceleration do the passengers of the coaster cart experience?
Explanation / Answer
as car is navigating a turn .its feeling centripetal acceleration. so a = v^2/rg now using V^2 from second part. which i have solved earlier. and its velocity will be same because centripetal acceleration is perpendicular to velocity so not changing its magnitude. so a=v^2/r =24 g/10 =2.4g .
