Above is a link to an article and to a you tube link that are needed to answer the following question. Please can anyone help me I really need the help. Please answers have to be very clear. I would really appreciate it.
1a) Describe how this new viral communication system discovered works. Describe the key experiment(s) that these scientists performed to determine how the system works?
1b) How is it similar and how is it different from the quorum sensing system in bacteria?

Explanation / Answer
1(a) Viral Communication System- The provided Nature (2017) article depicts that why viral communication is needed and how it works throughout the differentiation of lytic and lysogenic cycle. First of all, it is necessary to know that lytic cycle consists of replication and lysis of host viability whereas in lysogenic cycle reverse is true. The scientist who worked on the viral communication network in provided article chose the spBeta group of viruses to check the communication between lytic-lysogenic identification. During the experiment, the bacterial host cell was infected by bacteriophage and later on, the bacteriophage produces a protein named 6aa which helped in communication between the system. The high level of these peptides directs the lysogenetic cycle or vice versa. Infection by different phages produced variable communication peptides and depicts the path of lysogeny process. The whole process of lysogeny due to these communication peptides is termed as arbitrium system. The arbitrium system was encoded by three different genes namely aimP (peptide producers); aimR (peptide receptor), and aimX (negative regulator of lysogeny). This whole article on viral communication based lytic-lysogeny decision depicts that arbitrium system helps the virus to communicate with its predecessors regarding the identification of lytic or lysogenic pathway.
Key steps of the study-
1(b) This is similar to quorum sensing in bacteria as it invloves bacterial host and secretes the communication peptide for the incorporation of lytic or lysogeny pathway.
