8. Cats domestication started near about 4000 year ago , wheather dogs domestication started 25000 year ago. So humans started dogs interbreeding according to there need ,they made different varieties of dogs by interbreeding.
In case of cat domestication, it started long years after dogs domestication so there is much less varieties of cat .
