Solution(10):
Let us go to the basics first.
We know that
Wavelength = Speed / frequency ..................Eqn.1
For frequency (25 KHz):
Wavelength = 344 m/s / 25000 Hz = 0.01376 m (Answer ==> Smallest value)
For frequency (30 Hz):
Wavelength = 344 m/s / 30 Hz = 11.47 m (Answer ==> Largest value)
Solution(11):
Wave speed = Wavelength * Frequency
=>Speed of sound in solid = 0.333m * 69000 Hz = 22977 m/s (Answer)
Speed of sound in solid / speed of sound in air = 22977 / 344 = 66.79 (Answer)
Thanks!!!
