A piston-cylinder device holds 1 kg of HELIUM GAS which undergoes a cycle of four polytropic processes. The initial pressure and temperature are 100 kPa and 300 K. Neglect KE & PE. Find the heat transfer and the work for each of the processes and the cycle work.
Process 1 to 2 ) Constant pressure process to v2 = ( 2 ) v1
Process 2 to 3 ) Adiabatic polytropic process ( n = k ) to v3 = 1/2 v1
Process 3 to 4 ) Constant volume process ( n = infinitie )
Process 4 to 1 ) Isothermal (constant temperature) process ( n = 1 )
I was able to figure out 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 but I dont understand how to do 3 to 4 and 4 to 1

isnt the work done from 3 to 4 zero due to constant volume
