The performance of the sudden contraction shown in Figure 6.9 was studied in the laboratory. The measured laboratory data were as follows: Perform a dimensional analysis on the variables and present the laboratory results in an appropriate no dimensional form that relates the pressure change to the characteristics of the contraction, fluid, and flow.
