I’m not 100% what I am doing wrong. I was able to find the answer to question 1 and question 2, but the third question wants you to compare the 2 using percent error. I keep getting weird numbers. I notice that there is a huge difference in K values which is not all possible even if you do the experiment with closed eyes. The probability of K being wrong in question 1 is none as it is a theoretical value and you must have used a formula to calculate it. However, I request you to kindly check it because K is spring stiffness and it should have units of N/m ... You can find the value of K by using the formula

k = F/x here F is the weight of the mass...make sure that you take this in newtons. I see that you wrote 300 grams in brakets.. I think this is the mass not the weight. You need to convert 300 grams to kilograms then multiply by 9.8 to get in newtons. It will come as 2.94 Newtons. You have already calculated x as 35.4 cm. It would be 0.354 meters. Now divide, 2.94 newtons / 0.354 meters = 8.305 N/m. This is your theoretical K. Still, i WANT YOU TO RECHECK WITH YOUR MANUAL.

Question 2 seems fine. Without seeing the graph, it is hart to tell. However, slope is fraction of difference between two y coordinates divided by difference between two x coordinates. It's same as rise/run.
