T1 speed -- 50 km/h T2 speed -- 80 km/h T2 arrives 3 hrs before T1 At this point there is 150 km's between them since it will take T13 hours to get there. How long did it take for there to be 150 km's between them? 5 hours ---- 30 km/hr difference for 5 hours = 150 distance Therefore the stations are 5 hours * 80 km/hr = 400 km apart.
