Hi. You do not have an angle, because the angle you're looking for iszero. Then cos = cos (0) = 1 and your formula becomes: W = F.d   That's it. The only other catch is that in theMKSA unit system, you need to use meters, not kilometers in yourequations. So kilo means 103 and you convert your lengthunit using the relation: 1 kilometer = 103 meters = 1000m. It will give you the work in joules (J). To remember what the angle represents, just remember that the workformula means that work is defined as W = (Force) X (distance traveled in the direction of theforce) The distance traveled in the direction of the force is  d cos , where is the angle between the force and thedirection of motion.
