Since your problem statement says: all the fuel isemitted at once, this is not a variable-mass problem. So you can simply use conservation of momentum: Mass of rocket (m1)= 235000-186000= 49000 kg velocity of rocket =v1 mass of fuel (m2)= 186000 kg velocity (v2)= 38,500 m/sv1= (m2v2)/m1 = approx. 146143 m/s
