An 80.0 kg worker stands on the beam, 4.00 m from theleft support. 30.0 kg of brick are stacked on the beam 1.50 m fromthe left end of the beam. so = (100*9.8)(2.5m) + 80*9.8*4 +30*9.8*1.5+FR (5) = 0 Therefore FR = [ 2450+ 3136 + 441 ]/5 = 1205.4 N
From net force FR +FL = W + WW + WB FL = (W +WW + WB )/ FR = (100 + 80 + 30 )9.8 -(1205.4 ) = 852.7 N FL = (W +WW + WB )/ FR = (100 + 80 + 30 )9.8 -(1205.4 ) = 852.7 N
