q1 = 4*10^-7 C q2 = 2.5*10^-7 C Seperation d = 0.05 m Dielectric constant k = 6.2 Electrostatic constant K = 9*10^9 Nm^2/C^2 In Dielectric medium : Force acting on q1, F = (1/k)[Kq1q2/d^2]                                  = (1/6.2)[(9*10^9*4*10^-7*2.5*10^-7)/(0.05)^2]                                  = 5806.45*10^-5 N In Vacuum : Force acting on q1, F' = kF = 36000*10^-5 N So we conclude it is smaller than that force if the region was a vacuum.
