Question
A scale is used to record after the experiment, which is either white or bicolored. This is a form of (blank) data which is a type of (blank) data. At the end of the experiment, some rats have no black pigment. What causes a bicolored rat to become all white? (blank) Before and after the experiment, a (blank) scale is used to record which is measured in grams. This is a form of (blank) data which is a type of (blank) data. Before and after the experiment, is measured in g/cm g/cm2 using a scale. This is a form of data which is a type of data. Explanation / Answer
There are various mutations in the 1)melanin synthesis pathway and mutations in the pathway 2)tyrosine gene and enzyme metabolism pathway 3)different and spatial distribution and deposition of the melanin pigment in the skin of rats causes changes in the skin color 4)color changes due to expression of genes after a cross between different colored rats, the genes coding for color enzymes are dominant, recessive and intermediate genes which encode different colors.
The enzymes of tyrosine metabolism impart different color due to the formation of different intermediates in the melanosomes granule inside the melanocyte cell of the skin after accross. Some of the enzymatic genes are active and dominant and express metabolic color imparting intermediates whereas other recessive allele of color genes are not expressed. The recessive color genes undergo gene rearrangement which form a different enzyme with a different catalytic site and give rise to a different color forming intermediate in the tyrosine metabolism pathway which imparts skin color to the rat. Along with this, there are spatial distribution group of genes which become active during embryonic development of the rat and dustribute the metabolic color intermediates to different areas of the skin during gastrula, morula and blastula stage and during embryonic cavity development stage of ectoderm, mesoderm, endoderm, and blastoderm stage.
The rearrangement of the myosin-5 protein causes the redistribution of the different melanin color intermediate in the hair follicles of rats and distribution to the different parts of skin and other organ starts by the transport and migration of melanosomes inside the melanocytes starts from the neural cavity during embryonic differentiation pathway.
----EXPERIMENTAL PROTOCOL--
1)The experiment was conducted on two groups of mice---one group of black mice and another group of white mice.
2)The mice were then fed with a low copper diet, high copper diet by mixing it in food and water.
3)Both the groups of mice were weighed in cage before and after the diet intake of copper and their weight was notified.
4)Further analysis of c-kit protein receptor expressions was done on bone stromal cells and scanning of bone-marrow was done in both the groups.Copper ion is required for the electron transport chain and ATP synthesis by the F0-F1 ATPase pump on the mitochondrial membrane ,a nd copper also reacts with the oxygen free radicals and hydroxide radicals present in the cell membrane leading to quenching of the free radicals.
5)Scanning X-ray Radiation causes mutation in the genes of the mice, which alters the cell signaling response in PERK kinases, caspases, ATF-6 proteins and high radiation dose can also cause luekemia cancer
6)The bone marrow of the body is the place of the synthesis and differentiation of red blood cells along with iron containing hemoglobin pigment.
5)High copper diet group of mice (experimental mice) changed color due to activation of caspases genes leading to apoptosis as analysed by JC-1 staining (mitochondrial membrane potential), propidium iodide staining, and cell cycle stage analysis whereas low copper salt group mice (control mice) did not show changes in skin color.
6)The slices of the bone marrow tissue sections were wieghed and analysed by scanning radiation densitometry.
7)N-Suc-Leu-Leu-Val-Tyr-AMC --peptide containing tyrosine was studied after stimulating the bone marrow cells and leukemic cell lines to study 20s mediated apoptotic and ubiquitin pathway of degradation which causes the degradation of skin melonocytes and bone marrow cells leading to cell death along with treatment with daunomycin, cycloheximide which serve as anticancer and antileukemic drug and protein synthesis inhibitor drug respectively.
FILL IN THE BLANKS---PASSAGE-ANSWERS---
1)this is the form of experimental data which is a type of control data.
2)apoptosis of melanocyte causes the bicolor white and black rats to become all white.
3)before and after the experiment , a weight scale is used to record which is measured in grams.
4)this is a form of bone density data which is a type of experimental data.
