Characterize the potential of ST398 infections as an epidemic, pandemic, endemic, or sporadic. Justify your answer.
Tara Smith and, her research assistant, Dipendra Thapaliya sampled a series of grocery stores for one year, outline their findings. Explain how these findings could have critical impacts on overall human health.
These are the articles:
Farming up trouble,
Vaccine development:Man vrs. MRSA Antibiotic use in food producing animals
Modern Meats
I need to explain this in your own words then I can have an idea to write in my owns words. I don't need just copy and paste because I can do that. What I need is brief summary of the finding in our own words. Also, send me the references of what article you used. Thank you,
Explanation / Answer
MRSA (Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus), VRSA (vancomycin resistant staphylococcus aureus) & VRE (vancomycin resistant eneterococci) bacteria pose an increased patient threat and recall three newer drugs for treating them because they are resistant to the available antibiotics. Diseases caused by these resistant strains cannot be controlled with the present available drugs (or combination therapy may be helpful sometimes), so newer drugs are needed. There are many research papers on antibiotics and antibiotic resistant bacteria. First of all what do you mean by an antibiotics? It is a compound which is use to treat infections caused by microorganisms also known as antimicrobials. The potential of MRSA- ST398 infections are always pandemic because they often arise when human contact with animals sometimes some of the infections are endemic, or sporadic because MRSA -ST398 is described as a meticulous colonizer of pigs & may infect humans when they are doing pig farming
