From the figure,

R2 and R3 are parallel .

so, resultant resistance = 4*12 / (4 + 12) = 3 ohm

This is in series with R1.

so, resultant resistant of circuit = 3 + 5 = 8 ohm

Current in the circuit l = V / R

l = 16 / 8 = 2 A

current in the R1 = 2 A

potential diffrence b/w R2 and R3,

deltaV = V - l1R1 = 16 - (2*5)

deltaV = 6 V

(d)

Current through R2 and R3 will divide in opposite ration of resistance.

current through R2 = 12*2 / 16 = 1.5 A
