900 ohm and 300 ohm are series.

equivalent of these R' = 900 + 300 = 1200 ohm

now 1200 ohm and R' are in parallel connection.

Req = 1200 x 1200 / (1200 + 1200) = 600 ohm


now R1 annd 600 ohm are in series.

equivalent of these R" = R1 + 600 = 900 + 600 = 1500 ohm


this is on parallel connection with battery,

hence current through R" = V / R = 30 / 1500 = 0.02 A


D) potential difference across R2 is e.

current = e / R2 = 30 / 1500 = 0.02 A

E)this current will divide into 1200 ohm and (900 + 300) ohm branch.

both branch have same resistance.

hence current will divide.

current through 1200 ohm = 0.02/2 = 0.01 A
