1) In box A, only one bulb is used which has some resistance. In box B, two bulb are connected in series so resistance add up and hence resistance increases.
In box C, two bulb are connected in parallel. So equivalent resistance decreases.
Hence, C and A is brighter than B. C is more brighter or less brighter than A depends on the value of resistance of A.
Brighteness is related with power and power is inversely proportional to the resistance.
2)current is inversely proportional to resistance.
Consider all bulb have resistance 1 ohm.
In box A, resistance is 1 ohm.
In box B, resistance is 0.66 ohm.
In box C, resistance is 2 ohm.
In box D, resistance is 0.5 ohm.
So, D>B>A>E>C is the sequence of current.
In box E, resistance is 1.5 ohm.
