If the fluid (density of 1040 kg/m*3) leaves a fire extinguisher at a speed of 25 m/s, what is the pressure inside? Submit Answer | Incompatible units. Here ,
density of fluid , p = 1040 Kg/m^3
speed of fire extingusher , v = 25 m/s
let the pressure inside is Pi
Using Bernoulli's equation
0.5 * (Pi - Po) = 0.5 * p * v^2
0.5 * (Pi - 1.01 *10^5) = 0.5 * 1040 * 25^2
solving for Pi
Pi =4.26 *10^5 Pa
the pressure inside is 4.26 *10^5 Pa
