Mitochondria is an essential structure where combustion of organic substances by oxygen takes place.The inner membrane uses specific carriers for the translocation of various substances like ADP into ATP. Under anaerobic conditions ( in the absence of oxygen) glycose is degraded into lactate through glycolysis. If glycolysis occurs in the process of oxygen we get NAPH and pyruvate. Krebs cycle and citric acid cycle takes place in the mitochondrial matrix.  

Citric acid cycle produces electrons that travel from one protein complex to next in the inner membrane.At the end of electron transport chain, the final electron acceptor is oxygen and forms into water. At the same time ATP is formed by electron transport chain which is called oxidative phosphorylation. So, Oxygen is produced which forms water ultimately.

The stroma fills most of the cholorplasts and is kind of gel fluid that surrounds thylakoids.This is the innermost membrane , internal membrane structure called thylakoids. Thylakoids are stacked like a pile of coins called grane present inside the chloroplast. So, chlorophyll is present in the thylakoid sacs of the chloroplast.
