HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two blocks are connected by a string and are initially moving upward. A hand pulls string 1, which is attached to block A, so that the blocks are gradually slowing down. The strings remain taut at all times. The mass of block B is greater than that of block A. The strings have mass, but do not stretch. Draw a separate free-body diagram for each block and for string 2. Label your forces to make clear the object on which the force is exerted, the object exerting the force, and the type of force being exerted. Identify all the Newton's third law force pairs in your diagrams by placing a small "X" through each member of the pair. Is the force on block A by string 2 greater than, less than, or equal to the weight of block B? Explain. Suppose that string 2 were massless and that the blocks had the same motion as in part (a). Which forces on string 2 would change and why? Explain. Would the net force on block A increase, decrease, or remain the same? Explain. b.1) The tension in string 2 will remain same as the net force on block B has to be the same as accelearation of blocks has not changed. However, force of gravity will decrease to zero.
2.) No change as accleration remains same.
