Question

I have built the following circuit in Multisim to simulate a LM34 temp sensor. The aim of this project is to have DMM1 read the temperature in fahrenheit where 1 degree = 1v and 100 degress is 100 volts. DMM 3 is suppose to display the temperature in celsius where 1 v = 1 degrees celsius. In this image I should have 32V at Vo3 but i get 95mv no matter the source voltage. The only power we have available is +-15v dc. I am using a DC voltage source since multisim does not have the LM34 available.

Multimeter-XMM2 100.067 V Multimeter-XMM1 95.913 mV Faheinheit DMM Set... Set. Celsius DMM XMM1 R4 R3 R5 16?? 10?? 0 U2 R1 U3 R2 R67 16 18MQ 741 R7 741 741 500k?

Explanation / Answer

If you kindly check the datasheet of 741 opamp, its input resistance is around 0.3-2Mohm and you are using using very high resistance due to which it is not able to give faithfull amplification as desired.

and my reading for celsius DMM is (5/9)*100=55.555 not 32
