Question

I have been using Excel 2003 in the office for a long time on relatively slow PCs. I just moved to excel 2013 at home on a brand new and powerful computer (Intel core i7 8gb RAM running windows 8...). I find the new excel 2013 generally very sluggish. Nothing that actually prevents me from working but significant enough to be annoying and slow me in my work. Every action seems to be executed with an annoying small lag even on tiny spreadsheets (<100 entries - basic cell calculations). Is it normal that excel 2013 is far less reactive on a powerful computer than exxcel 2003 on aa 6 yeasrs old machine? Any tip? It is so frustrating that I am considering going back to excel 2003.

Many thanks!!,
