Explanation / Answer
Inheritance is the passage of hereditary traits from one generation to the next. It is the process by which you acquired your characteristics from your parents and may transmit some of your traits to your children. Genes that are present in the 23 pairs of chromosomes are responsible for fetus traits.
Example:
1. One parent has a dominant gene of brown eyes and the other parent has the recessive trait of blue eyes, then the fetus usually has the trait of brown eyes.
2. The fetus broad or narrow nose is determined by the dominant and recessive gene of the parents.
Different Philosophic views:
1. The fetus becomes as a human at the time of conception and abortion is the denying of the person present in the womb.
2. Once the fetal movement has started, the growing fetus is conscious, and viable to feel pain.
The law in Utah ensures the doctor to give anesthesia to a growing fetus before an abortion as the fetus can feel pain. The U.S federal government also insists to give pain medication for the fetus at the gestational age of greater than 22 weeks before an abortion. Still, the argument on abortion is going on. Some are opposing the abortion but some other are arguing that one should not force the women to give birth.
