An investigation concluded that the patient was not receiving the needed amount of oxygen and the nurse-anesthetist missed the changes in the vital signs until the patient was close to cardiac arrest. The surgeon initially had assisted in positioning the patient and had helped to administer some of the initial anesthetic.

As far as the topic is concern,this incident is happened under the supervision of surgeon.The superrior employee is responsible for these kind of incidents as per law.Under surgeon supervision,nurse committed that mistake and killed the patient.The physician should always keep in check regarding the condition of the patient and also monitor the treatment giving by his nurse.According to the happened incident,if surgeon monitored and instructed carefully,the patient may survive.So the patient care is completely responsible by the physician and he may have to face the remaining consequences for the patients death.
