Hey i find this article very generic, may be becausw i am working in Advertising industry for last 5 years. The unconventional thing that he is talking about is actually no longer unconventional as being unconventional is the new trend in the market or literally speaking was a trend in the market and will remain to be the one.

he is n't just talking about nontradtional trends over traditional and digital one, but is providing a more generic information about how you should market product.

you just visit any website of a market research company for example visit Millward and brown , you will see everyone talks about storytelling being the best way to advertize your product,

So, the author here is n't providing anything new here, you can find the same sought of information on the website of any market research firms,

And what he is calling nontraditional approach is actually integated marketing where you don't use just one means of advertising but instead use a holistic approach.
