Ganges, Indus, and Brahmaputra rivers are very important for the survival of early civilizations in South Asia because all the civilizations needs some basic factors for their sustenance there are water, food, mode of transportations and there factors were all provided by there rivers as they provide water which is required for all basic works apart from water the rivers brings a lot of high fertile soil and thus river plains are very fertile which assist the cultivation and over to this the flowing water in river also provide mode of transportations.
Religion has influenced the political-administrative configuration of South Asia as religions often make strong claims on people’s allegiance, and universal religions make these claims on all people, rather than just a particular community. Thus political-administrative configuration of South Asia are very much influenced by the religions beliefs. For an example, Islam which traditionally held all people owe obedience to Allah’s will. Thus, it is probably inevitable that religious commitments will sometimes come into conflict with the demands of politics.
