From and economic perspective, one could argue, inter alia, that illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico, Central and South America (1) will contribute to long-run growth in U.S. per capita income since it is mostly comprised of young individuals with a strong work ethic or (2) will slow long-run economic growth in U.S. per capita income since it will change the culture that has contributed to U.S. economic growth being higher than Latin American economic growth in the past. Please make an argument for both propositions.

From an economic perspective, one could argue that illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico, Central and South America will contribute to long run growth in the United States per capita income since it is mostly comprised of young individuals with a strong work ethic. The migranst mostly come to the United States in search of jobs and as is known from the economic theory, an increase in the labor force in the economy will shift the short run and long run aggregate supply curve of the economy rightwards and thus will increase potential level of growth rate of the economy. It cannot influence the culture that has contributed to growth in the past as it is deepli imbibed in the owners of the production and they will not let that happen in the country because they know its value. Thus, it will not lead to reduction in the economic growth of the country at all. It will increase country's output.
