Question

PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PAST OTHER ANSWER. I POSTED THE QUESTION MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE I NEED DIFFERENT OPINIONS OF THE SAME ARTICLE AS WELL AS DIFFERENT ARTICLES......

Could some one please read any article relevant to any topic related to macroeconomic , in a newspaper, magazine or on the web.

I just need a summary of the article that includes the main points and summary in the first 2-3 paragraphs. In the last paragraph you need to give me your opinion/thoughts. It doesnt have to be anything complicated since I am just starting class.... Also, add the article info since I need to write about it as well.

In class we just need to compare different opinion and how someone can analyze a topic very different than other even to the topic and article is the same...Dont copy other answers please

Thanks

Explanation / Answer

This article titled 'China warns US against imposing tarriffs' posted on CNNMoney website on 3 june 2018.

This article is about China's concern over Trumps plan to impose tarriffs on chinese imported goods into US. There is plan to raise tarriffs on $50 billion of Chinese exports. This plan has made China to stage warning agianst it saying that this could create hurdles in progress of talk between the two economies.

The warning specifies that China will not enusre to give commitment that it will tend to buy more American goods if such tarriff gets imposed. US has planned to sanction tarriffs not only on chinese goods but has also planned steep tarriffs on metal imports from Mexico and Canada and EU. There is actually a trade gap between China and US which Trump has always pointed out in meetings and talks. US exports to China nearly $187 billion worth goods and China exports goods of $524 billion to U.S. Not only this but China is a key importer to US. earlier than the announcement of Trump reagrding the plan China showed that it would likely to increase purchase from US but threatens to do this after the announcement of plan of tarriffs.

The warning could not be taken as mere a warning by US as China has the position to take this step. If we go by statistics then it is confirmed that US economy may get more affected than China with trade relation getting sore between the two. China just export 8% from US out of total exports but US purchases 18% of total imports of US signifying that Chinese goods are of great signifinance for the US economy.
