Suitable mounting mechanism for dead fallen carved trees: In order to prevent dead trees from rotting away due to humidity and bacterial action, vertical mounting mechanism should be made. Cement, metals, and wood are unsuitable for making the mount.

Structural reinforcement. To prevent trees from falling due to rotting of roots, proper mechanism to hold them on place to be taken care of.

Callus regrowth: regrowth of callus, especially in eucalypts with hollow pipe , can lead to exfoliation of carved face .
