1. Agriculture sector is backbone of any country. According to Lewis Model of Development initially the agriculture sector provide raw material to the industry . Also the excess labour in agricultural sector supply labour force to the Industrial sector. Initially in development process large segment of population is engaged in agriculture sector and also large segment of population ug s engaged in agriculture sector. So in order to raise standard of living we gave raise the productivity of agriculture sector. If this can be possible then the growth momentum could be passed on to other sector from where country could move to higher growth trajectory.
