though its true that in both sector that is in health care sector and the other consumer product sector the driving force is the forces of market demand and supply of these products however one thing is also certain that in many ways the healthcare sector is way different from consumer sector because shopping for healthcare is not like shopping for consumer goods in which many factors are included that is need ,choice,fashion,status,and can be avoided if the income does not permit .if a customer do not find the price of LED tv he can cancel the decision for the further period so that prices may fall or got some discount later or even switch to some other cheaper brands but in the healthcare sector the choice is not made on the basis of choice of the customer but mainly his health condition.if a patient has some severe disease he can not wait for the discount or the prices to fall.
healthcare sector has a great influencing effect on the product of the other consumer sector because health is an essential issue in everybody life.in many developing and emerging economies a majority of population has to spend great chunk of their disposable income on health products as there is very less penetration of health-related insurance and health coverage by the government .due to this condition people could not save and so could not spend much on the purchase of other products like electronics and other consumer goods.if the health services are affordable people will be able to save great amount that could be spend on the purchase of other commodities.it has been seen that where there are efficient and cheaper health services there is a very positive effect on the markets of other industries.
Professionals in health services are very different from the professionals in other fields because it is not just a field of great responsibility but is also very complex knowledge field. other fields of skilled services are mainly seen from the economy point of view but a professional health sector comes with a vision of service.health-related issues are very sensitive and there for a health service provider needed to be very much sensitive and should have great professional ethics.
