Final Paper Instructions To demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of geography, you will write a response to the following essay question concerning "world rankings" of nations or political states: Since World War II, the United States has often been placed No. 1 in world rankings of various kinds. With the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the United States was often referred to as the sole remaining superpower. As the twenty-first century proceeds, however, the position of the United States at the top of the rankings is being questioned. What considerations, measures, and weightings do you think should be used in devising such rankings? Use your method to devise two rankings of the top three political states for: 1) a century of your choice before the twentiethcentury (1800's or before) 2) the likely ranking by the end of the twenty-first century (2000's)

world ranking of countries are not selected on bases of just few things like economy and buisiness etc. it took lots of things which are accumulated for this yes economy and buisiness are two of those but also the social and ecological behavior of country for other, and whats there step towards small poor countries and most important step towards enviorment and science and technology(inventions and researches)

US was been placed at top because it really deserve that they are good in research they had good plans for poor country they always help countries suffring from terroorism , they had given a lot to the world lots of inventions for world as well, they have the largest food production and had given lot in this field too. so in my consideration in the year back in 1800 the top most country in ranking was USA because thats the time when they were largest in production they are powerfull but wants to unite there nation and they were good in inventions and reserch too and there are lots of aspects to like politics.

but in 2000 it was USA obviously but it was a bit questionable because of some political conflicts in decision making but it happens in all the countries because of change of government and all. but still the nation was on top of everything . IT sector has showen some resession.but the nation recover it self and get back to the top.the fight was with itself not with any other nation but with itself and the nation promote itself again.
