Explanation / Answer

In this video of labeling theory we can see various deviant behaviors in the classroom they are categorised as deviant and been labeled accordingly. This video was designed probably around 1960 and the situation today is completely different. In my real-life I never came across a program like this in my school.

But to be honest in my personal opinion I think that THIS LABELING THEORY IS NOT GOOD and I don't agree with the theory in this video because it clearly states that the actions were considered as unfavourable conditions and LABELING them depending on their actions in classroom is not a good sign and it has negative effects on that particular student.

For example let us consider a student who is Alcoholic or drug addict, then if teachers notice such actions in a student then that particular student must be given counseling along with their parents. This is the best way to bring change in them rather than labeling them in front of his fellow mates in school. Because if the student was labeled before his classmates then they cannot get a second chance to redeem and everyone starts avoiding him and can result in negative impact on that student and he can never change. No one wants to be identified so in public and this can continue in having negative opinion towards them.
