Hydrozoans and scyphozoans:Similarities: hydrozoa and scyphozoa are marine animals. Both have medusa life cycles.Differences: Hydrozoans are the feathery bushy polyps. scyphozoans has the large jelly fish dominant cycle. hydrozoa's medusae is smaller. Scyphozoa's medusae is larger. Hydrozoa's medusae live shorter. Scyphozoa's medusae live longer. Acoelomate and pseudocoelomate: Similarities: Both possess fluid filled cavities in their bodies.  Both have mesodermal lining. Differences: Acoelomate don't have any cavity whereas pseudocoelomare doesnot have mesoderm. Acoelomate doesnot have mesoderm. pseudocoelomate have other layers as cavities. Pesudocoelomate can be used as skeletons whereas acoelomate cannot be used as skeletons. anthozoan and hydrozoan: Similarities: Both live in salt water. Both form coral formations.
