Using the example seismic data below. How do i determine v1 and z using the reflected P-wave? How do i use the tabled data, (what values should i aim to get to be able to use the formula and how do i do it for ex, the arrival times and the offsets).
And can someone tell if what do the direction of the small waves on the siesmic graph data mean? If it bulges to the left or to the right, what do they mean?

The small waves are moving towards the right hand side and is indicated by the small spikes pointing towards the right hand side and it indicates that the wave has just formed and is approaching a particular area.
