What reasons does Boaz give for thinking that prohibition of drugs like cocaine and marijuana has restricted liberty?

Answer: The government s spend more money on anti-drug activities, increasing drug penalties, passing more drug laws, and seizing more drugs. However, Boaz supports legalisation of such drugs as the drug prohibitation has cuases more failure and social ills than would result in legalisation. According to him, it should be natural right. The prohibition cuases the price raises because of the demand.

2.      In what ways does drug prohibition violate our natural and constitutional rights?

Every individual has the right to live their lives the way they want and it does not violate i the equal rights of others and that is why, individuals should have the right to put substances into their own body. The decision should be up to the individual, not the government.

3.      Explain Boaz's reasons for why drug use does not cause violence in the way suggested by supporters of prohibition of drugs and the war on drugs. Do you agree with his claim, why?

ANswer : It is right. agree. As prohibition lowers the supply, so then the price raises because of the demand.

The high price of drugs causes addicts to commit crime in order to pay for their drugs. Disputes between customers and dealers can only be violence because it is illegal.Thus, the illegality of drugs is what causes violence, not the drug use itself
