1. The skeletal and muscular systems have their origin in the mesoderm.The earliest stage during development during which these types of tissues will be affected is during or after the process of gastrulation.

2. Squamous epithelium consists of cells that are flat and plate like. Squamous epithelium is present in alveoli, lining of blood vessels, pericardium, peritoneum

cuboidal epithelium consists of cube like cells. Cuboidal epithelium is found in ducts and tubules of the kidney, thyroid gland and germinal epithelium of ovary.

columnar epitheium consists of tall column like cells. It is present in lining of stomach, intestine and respiratory tract.
