Explanation / Answer

In part C,the viral genome is getting replicated. First a negative strand is synthesized. This is done in the opposite direction. This strand is then used to make the genome which is correctly aligned in the 5'-3' direction. These copies of the genome either go into latent mode as dsRNA or become the genome for the viral offspring. The enzyme which is used in replication is usually polymerase. Since the genome is RNA,it might be RNA polymerase.
