Honestly, I don't know what is wrong with this. All seems to be ok. The reaction is actually a 1st order reaction. If you plot lnC vs t and 1/C vs t, the r2 obtained are closer to 1, but the closest is of the first order plot.
Now, in my case, I obtained the following data:
y = -1.17x10-3x - 2.2924
Now, the rate law, according to the reaction will be:
r = k[H2O2]2 --> This is because you have a 2 as coefficient that balance the reaction, that's why you have to put the 2.
Now, using the plot, the slope gives the rate constant. In this case I will use the 1.17x10-3 instead of 0.001. This is because the number obtained in scientific notation was expressed like that, and you usually take about 2 or 3 significant figures to get more accurate results.
With this value taken, the half life and concentration will change:
t1/2 = ln2 / 1.17x10-3 = 592.43 s
See the difference between taking just 0.001 and 0.00117 or 0.0012? there are more separation in time.
the concentration then:
C = 0.1 * exp(-1.17x10-3 * 8*60)
C = 0.057 M
